We know quitting tobacco can be difficult.  When the urge to smoke becomes intense, try the “4-D’s”!

  1. DELAY - wait a few mintues and let the urge subside.
  2. DEEP BREATHS - take 4 deep cleansing breaths
  3. DRINK WATER OR JUICE - the carbohydrate from the juice helps replace nicotines stimulating effect.
  4. DO SOMETHING ELSE - take a walk, call a friend, clean the house, or try some yoga.
