#1SMALLCHANGE TIP OF THE DAY
Did you know there were 3.5 million new cases of melanoma diagnosed in the U.S. in 2009? And, 65% of melanoma is caused by sun or tanning beds.
We know there is a lot of confusion about sunscreen use out there. Questions abound - do I need UVB and UVA? What SPF should I use? How often do I apply sunscreen? How much sunscreen do I need? Well…have we got some answers for you.
You should apply sunscreen that has both UVB and UVA each day, reapplying every 2 hours you spend in the sun. Plus, you should generously slather on 1 oz of sunscreen - enough to fill a shot glass.
Watch this video from the “Today Show” for many more answers to sunscreen questions.
